I did not get an email for my card. Where can I find it?AHA Courses: You may do so one of two ways: Check your inbox for an email to claim your eCard. Go to AHA's website and enter your first name, last name and email address. Non-AHA Courses: Please contact us at Trainingsupport@aed808.com or call our office at 808-440-8988.

Where is my keycode for the online course? How do I activate my keycode?Your keycode is sent in your confirmation email post registration. It will look similar to this: "https://elearning.heart.org/course_enrolmentcourse=7&code=MjEzMDM4OTc=&rand=MjEzMDM4OTc=". For detailed instructions on how to find and activate your online course, please refer to the step by step tutorial at the bottom of this page or call our office at 808-440-8988.

How do I get my card after class?AHA Courses: After completing the course, you will receive an email from eCards@heart.org with the subject line of “Claim your AHA eCard”. It will be sent to the email that was used to register for the course. Please follow the instructions within that email. Non-AHA Courses: After completing the course, you will receive an email from Trainingsupport@aed808.com. Please allow up to 3 business days. If you still haven't received your card, please call our office at 808-440-8988.

I haven't received my confirmation email. Where is it?Please check your spam or junk folder first. It will be an email sent from training@aed808.com with a subject line of “Your Training Confirmation.” If you still don’t see it, you may contact trainingsupport@aed808.com or call our office 808-440-8988 for further assistance.

Where can I buy a book?We offer hard copy and ebooks upon registration as an add-on. If you decide to purchase a book after registering please contact our office to buy.

How do I know what course I should take?If you are taking a course for work, we recommend that you check with your employers as to what they require. As a general guideline: For anyone who wants to learn how to become a community responder (no medical background required), we recommend our community courses. For healthcare providers or those trying to get into the medical field, we offer Basic Life Support courses. This can be anyone from a nurse, physical therapist, dental hygienist, medical school student, etc. For advanced healthcare providers who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest/cardiovascular emergencies and those in emergency response whether that be adult or pediatric, we offer Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses. Do I have to buy a book?Yes, per AHA requirements you are required to have the most up to date version, which is the 2020 version.

How do I register for course?You can register for a course online through our Register for a Course page or you can call our office at (808)-440-8988.

Can I reschedule or cancel my class?Cancelation/Rescheduling Policy If for any reason you cannot attend the scheduled course, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled class at training@aed808.com or 808-440-8988 so that you may reschedule. Failure to notify us so will result in forfeiture of your course fee. Rescheduling is allowed within 3-months of your original scheduled date. Refund Policy All classes and e-products are non-refundable. No refunds will be given once you have registered and paid for the course. All required pre-work (blended courses online portion) must be completed prior to class. Policies, procedures and pricing are subject to change without notice.

Is there an age minimum to take CPR classes?No, we welcome all ages to our CPR classes. Just let us know if you plan to bring your child to a class in advance.

What is an online/classroom course?This is a hybrid course where you must complete an online portion PRIOR to your scheduled in person class date. If you need assistance with your online portion, please refer to the step by step tutorial at the bottom of this page or call our office at 808-440-8988.

Can I take an ACLS/PALS renewal class if I'm expired?We understand that things come up. We do allow up to 30 days post expiration to take a renewal course. **Please check your provider to make sure that they will allow you to continue working with an expired card

What's the difference between a renewal class and a Heartcode class?A renewal class is for PALS and/or ACLS certified providers or those who are within 30 days after their expiration date. While a Heartcode is for beginners who are not certified and those who are past 30 days after their expiration date

Where can I access the pre-course for ACLS?Pre-course for ACLS can be accessed through your AHA account using the following link https://elearning.heart.org/course/424 or found in your confirmation email.

Can I renew my BLS while I'm doing ACLS?Yes, there is an add on option for BLS when you register for your ACLS class. This is only available for ACLS Renewal and Heartcode classes, not for PALS classes.

What should I wear to the class?Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. You will be practicing skills that require you to work on your hands and knees, and the course requires bending, standing, and lifting.

Is there parking?Classes at our office: Yes! We have tons of free parking at our office location (3239 Ualena St. #201 Honolulu). Classes at the Airport: Please be cautious with parking availability during holidays or high peak travel seasons. Unfortunately, we do not have control over parking costs, rates are based on airport prices- we do not validate parking tickets as well.
