Philips earned the first FDA approval for over-the-counter defibrillator sale without a prescription, and the OnSite delivers real-time, step-by-step voice guidance so any bystander can treat suspected sudden cardiac arrest with confidence.
The HS1 guides you from pad placement through shock delivery and CPR with clear voice prompts that pace themselves to your actions. In addition, the device runs automatic self-tests — including pad testing — so it stays ready whenever it’s needed most.
The OnSite ships in Ready-Pack configuration — battery and Adult SMART Pads Cartridge come pre-installed, so setup takes seconds. First, pull the green tab to launch the initial self-test; then press the green On/Off button to activate voice instructions. The device adapts to the rescuer’s pace: it won’t advance to the next prompt until you’re ready, and it repeats and rephrases instructions as needed to aid understanding.
