Your purchase on this website covers AED equipment and accessories only. The following services are not included with any
equipment purchase unless separately agreed upon in writing:
- AED program coordination and management
- AED inspections and compliance tracking
- Battery and pad replacement services
- AED education and training programs
3. Payment
All orders require payment in full at the time of checkout. We accept credit/debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.
4. Shipping
We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. AED
Institute of America is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers once an order has been dispatched.
5. Returns & Refunds
All sales are final. Defective or damaged items must be reported within 30 days of delivery to it@aed808.com with your order number and photos. Opened electrode pads, batteries, rescue kits, and digital training materials are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are determined at the time of authorization.
6. Your Responsibilities
You understand, acknowledge, and agree that you are solely responsible for:
- All equipment inspection, maintenance, and operational readiness
- Ensuring personnel are properly trained in AED use
- Program compliance and any applicable state or federal AED regulations
- Notifying the appropriate authorities following any AED deployment
By purchasing AED equipment from AED Institute of America, we assume no responsibility for providing maintenance,
inspection, training, or program management services unless separately contracted.
7. Manufacturer Warranties
New products sold through this website carry only the warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. AED
Institute of America makes no additional warranties, express or implied, regarding any products sold.
8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
YOU AGREE TO ASSUME ALL RISK OF LOSS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PLACEMENT OR USE OF YOUR AEDS AND TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND
HOLD AED INSTITUTE OF AMERICA HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE
ATTORNEYS’ FEES), LOSSES, DAMAGES, DEMANDS, FINES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION, INCLUDING THOSE BROUGHT BY THIRD PARTIES, CAUSED
BY, ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO THE PLACEMENT, USE, OR NON-USE OF YOUR AEDS, THE NEGLIGENT FAILURE OF ANY PERSON OVER WHOM
YOU HAVE CONTROL TO USE ANY AED, THE LOCATION OF ANY AED, OR ANY ALLEGATION THAT THE NUMBER OF AEDS PURCHASED FROM US IS
INSUFFICIENT.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, YOUR OBLIGATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO ANY CLAIM, LIABILITY, EXPENSE, LOSS, DAMAGE, DEMAND,
FINE, OR CAUSE OF ACTION ESTABLISHED TO BE THE RESULT OF OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE.
TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE, YOUR DEFENSE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS SHALL ALSO EXTEND TO INJURIES OR
DEATH SUSTAINED BY YOUR EMPLOYEES AND SHALL NOT BE LIMITED BY ANY APPLICABLE WORKERS’ COMPENSATION LAW. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE
ANY STATUTORY OR CONSTITUTIONAL WORKERS’ COMPENSATION IMMUNITY UNDER APPLICABLE LAW WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE LIMIT YOUR
INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any disputes arising from a purchase on this
website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Hawaii.
